LAST BIG PERFORMANCE TODAY~!

We ran our drama production all this week and today was our last actual performance. I'm feeling a wash of melancholy, actually. Despite how irritating it all was to me and how I was really not getting along with group members by the end, I loved the whole experience.

After this whole crazy experience I can honestly say I love theatre. Period. Whether I'm acting or backstage, it feels me with this sense of belonging and happiness, knowing I'm just a small piece of a whole that creates amazing things. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not always good at working in a team, but something about theatre attracts me. Maybe it's the sense of acceptance. Maybe it's the fact that everyone understands each other.

On the other hand....

Recently, I haven't been able to shake the feeling I bite off more than I can handle. There are so many things I want to do, I wish I could run on less sleep. I've got this itch to dance and it's getting stronger every day, I have to resist the urge to burst into dance in the middle of the hallway. I've also been back in my sketching maniac-mode and my room is a mess, I have so many sketches lying around. I've been sewing like it's the end of the world too, ARGH. I don't know what happened but I feel electrified. I'm going to have to work out all this energy soon.

Enough about all that.

MERRY EARLY CHRISTMAS GUYS! I'm probably not going to be back on deviant for 2-3 weeks due to mah overseas trip, but I'll try to tell you about all the boring stuff I did in Shanghai ;D.
